"Aldisa Albatrosae is a story of love for sea creatures. Sea slugs are minuscule, fantastic animals with crazy colours and shades that drug the brain with excitement. I was driven by the desire to paint it on a big canvas, to be able to feel the whole energy flow stored in this millimetric slug.
The ocean is a canvas full of secrets, slugs and other marine animals are hiding their beauty from us. I feel we, humans cannot compare in so many qualities with slugs, look at their dress and look at ours. They don't need cloth to charm...all they have is nudity and gift of colour." Dia
